Herbert Davis

Herbert Franklin Davis, Sr., 83, of Tappahannock passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. He was a retired motor grater operator. Herbert was preceded in death by his son, Herbert F. Davis, Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Mildred Davis of Dunnsville; two grandchildren, Travis & Meghan Davis; one great-granddaughter, Blakely Hope Durvin; and the devoted mother of his children, Margaret Martin Davis.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 5, 2019 in the Faulkner Funeral Home, Marks-Bristow Chapel with Pastor Larry Schools officiating. Interment will follow in the Essex Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 am until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Travis Davis, Steve Davis, John Elliott, Edward Dunn, Robert Martin and Wayne “Beanie” Clarke.
