Herbert Waltman

Herbert C. Waltman, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022.

Herb was born August 23rd, 1939 in California then lived most of his life in Petersburg, VA. He retired with his wife, Brenda Waltman, in Jamaica, VA on the Rappahannock River. He loved to spend the day working in his yard or reading a book. He taught his children and grandchildren everything there is to know about fishing, boating, and crabbing. Herb, ‘PA’, army veteran, head of the family and a great friend to many, peacefully passed in his bed at home surrounded by his loved ones. He will be greatly missed by all of his loving family, friends, and neighbors.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years- Brenda Waltman ‘Mamaw’, one sister, Carol Waltman, and one brother, Irvin Waltman, two sons, Billy Waltman (Ruby Waltman) and Eric Waltman. Grandchildren, Conrad Waltman, Sean Waltman (Courtney Waltman), Ashley Waltman (Austin Harris), Kori Waltman and Kaylan Waltman. Great grandchildren, Layla Waltman, Jaiden Harris, Madison Harris, and Finley Waltman. He is predeceased by his parents Herbert Senior Waltman and Anne Waltman and son, David Waltman.
