Hope Holt, 58, of Tappahannock, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018 after a short but courageous fight with lung cancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Don O. and Marie McCauley, and also her husband, Francis Paul Holt, Sr.
She is survived by her three sons, Brandon Holt of Tappahannock, Virginia, Cameron Biggica and his husband Edward Biggica of Valley Springs, California and Julian Biggica of Mt. View, California; step-children, Francis Paul “ Frankie” Holt, Jr., of Durango, Colorado, Kristen (nee Thomas) Stein of Yerington, Nevada; sister, Susan McCauley of Spain; half-sister, Pat McCauley of Weaverville, NC; half-brother, Gary McCauley of Tappahannock, Virginia and a half-brother Neil McCauley (Kathy) of Tappahannock, Virginia.
The family will hold a private service at a later date. The family wishes to give a special thanks to Riverside Hospice staff and nurses and the staff and nurses of The Orchard for their kindness and compassion shown to them during this difficult time. Memorial donations may be made to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Road, second floor, Princeton, NJ, 08540. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel, Tappahannock is assisting the family.
