Ida Adelaide Agrelius, better known to family and friends as “Laddie”, passed away on September 18th in her Deltaville home at the age of 93. Laddie’s keen sense of humor and zest for life endeared her to everyone she met. She was born in Washington D.C., but lived most of her life in southern California. In her younger years, Laddie was an avid bowler and bridge player and she loved to play Bingo until her death. Laddie was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Corrinne Ratcliffe, of Hardyville.
She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Kelton, her daughter Judy Durazo and her son John Agrelius. She is survived by one sister, Mickie Crittenden of Deltaville, son-in-law Ralph Durazo, daughter-in-law Reba Agrelius, grandchildren Gina McCarty, Michelle Trickle, Stephen Durazo, Tina Ellingsworth, and Jamie Agrelius. Laddie also had eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Laddie will be held in Deltaville at a future date.
