Jacquelyn Sylva

Jacquelyn Campbell Sylva, 90, of Tappahannock passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2020. She was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, William H. Sylva and son Gary D. Sylva. She worked at B&S Chevrolet for many years and was a life member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Jackie is survived by her loving daughter, Donna Sanders (Gary), daughter-in-law, Debbie Sylva; grandchildren, Chris Sylva, Kelly Ricks (Chad), Brooke Sanders, Brock Sanders (Morgan), and Michelle Hence (Delvin); and ten great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel, Tappahannock with Pastor Charlie Ryan officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Current state-mandated restrictions will be applied, including appropriate face coverings. The staff will give instructions upon arrival to those who attend. Pallbearers will be Chris Sylva, Ian Sylva, Will Ricks, Brock Sanders, Mark Sylva, and Barry Bates In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 5141 Dunbrooke Road, Tappahannock, Virginia, 22560.
