James Davis

James L. “Jimmie” Davis, Jr. of Locust Hill, passed away on March 28, 2017. Born in Richmond, VA to parents James L. Davis and Clarke Major Davis, Jimmie was raised in Stormont, VA. In addition to his parents, Jimmie was predeceased by his brother in law, Hubert Miller. He loved being outdoors hunting and fishing and enjoyed spending time with his friends at the hunt club. Jimmie is survived by his wife, Christina Jeanette Davis; three daughters, Danielle Elizabeth Davis, April Dawn Davis, and Virginia Grace Davis; one son, James Lawrence Davis (Nikki); two sisters, Delores Miller and Diane Neal (Jimmy); uncle, S. Mercer Major (Ann); along with several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda.
