James Alden Hogge, age 68, of Urbanna, died Monday, March 5, 2012. He was a member of Hermitage Baptist Church, a commercial waterman and owner of Buster’s Seafood. Jimmy was an avid turkey hunter. Survived by his wife Paige W. Hogge, a daughter, Robin Taylor, a stepson, Shawn Traylor (Avis), 2 sisters, Charlotte Walinski (Albert) and Dorothy Spicer and a grandson David Taylor. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2012, at Hermitage Baptist Church, 94 Wares Bridge Rd., Church View, VA, 23032. Following the service, a reception will be held at the church. Memorial gifts may be made to the Upper Middlesex Vol. Fire Dept., 4583 Water View Rd., Water View, VA, 23180. Arrangements by Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Saluda.
