James Jeffries

James “Jeff” Jeffries, 87, of Hardyville, went by to be with his Lord on November 11, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, daughter Carolyn Stanhope, and a son Donald L Fields. Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Lois Jeffries, 3 brothers, daughters Sharon “Jeffries” and Bill Gall; Marcia “Jeffries” and John Russell; Donna “Jeffries” and Rich Erwin; Deborah Fields; and son Garland and Stephanie Fields. In addition, he is survived by grandchildren Justin and Jesse Fields, Shawn Jeffries Erwin, Zachary Jeffries Erwin, Livia Erwin, Jason and Jessie Stanhope, Dustin and Jade Wong and Lyndsey Russell; and 11 great grandchildren. He will be loved and missed by all. Jeff was a long-time member of the Hurd’s hardware family, and always greeted you with a smile on his face. The family would like to thank Hospice of Virginia for all their loving care and compassion in our time of need. The memorial service will be held at 12pm on Saturday, November the 18th at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow Faulkner Chapel in Saluda, followed by a celebration of life at the Deltaville Firehouse.
