James Rector

We, with heavy hearts, announce the death of James Wesley Rector of Topping, VA. Jimmie was born November 18, 1947 to Gill and Elfleda Rector. He was a native of Middlesex County, was a graduate of Middlesex High School and was retired from Smurfit Stone Paper Mill in West Point. He served in the U.S. Army as a Field Medic in Vietnam.

He is survived and will be greatly missed by his wife Ceil Rector; his two sisters, Jean and husband Jim Hill, Betty and husband Charlie B. Miller; three children, Amy and George D. Ellis, Pete and Ashley Coberly, Katie and Bryan Daughtry, and by the loves of his life, his grandchildren, Ridge Ellis, Clayton Ellis, Amber Daughtry and Vivienne Coberly; one very special niece, Sherry Hudnall and husband Bobby and two great nieces, Brooke and Megan Hudnall.

Graveside services with military honors will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Lower United Methodist Church Cemetery, Hartfield, VA. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m., Monday, September 16th at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Saluda.
