James Redmond

James H. “Jim” Redmond of Topping, Virginia passed away suddenly at home on the river on Thursday, December 15, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Preston Hoy and Margaret Louise Redmond. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Pamela Woods Redmond and his sister Kay Mims (Gene), his brother Wayne Redmond (Donni), and his sister Brenda Vaughan. He is also survived by Pam’s family, many friends, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim, owner of The Redmond Group, was born in Petersburg on December 18, 1949 and formerly resided in Richmond. Services will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home in Saluda. Graveside services to follow at Middlesex Memorial Cemetery in Urbanna. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Middlesex Family YMCA, 11487 General Puller Highway, Hartfield, VA 23071 or to a charity of your choice.
