Janet Suydam Friend, 80, a resident of Remlik, passed away Wednesday March 7, 2012 at Walter Reed Hospital.
Preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, William A. Friend, she is survived by four children, James B. Friend of Colonial Beach VA, John W. Friend of Jacksonville Beach FL, Christine Friend Heisler of Urbanna VA, and Adam N. Friend (Cathy) of King George VA; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday March 17, 2012 at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to Central Middlesex Volunteer Rescue Squad.
