Virginia Beach- Jason Lester Atkins, born September 1, 1919, was called home to God on Sunday, March 17, 2013. Les was a published author and poet and a WW II Veteran.
He is survived by his two sons and their wives; 1 daughter, 1 stepdaughter and her husband; 1 stepson and his wife and numerous grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, as well as, all of his beloved friends. Our father will remain in our hearts forever.
There will be two memorial services, Saturday, March 23, 2013, from 10-11 a.m. at the Atlantic Shores Retirement Home, Va. Beach, Va., followed by a service at 4:30 p.m. in the Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home Chapel, Mathews, Va. The inurnment will follow in the CHrist CHurch Cemetery, Mathews.
