Joan Ison

In Loving Memory of our Beautiful Mother, Joan Price Ison, who went to be with the Lord on June 20, 2016. She was 79 years old and full of life. She is survived by her husband, Lowell Kelly Ison, and 7 children, John, Steve and Debbie Price, Kim Price Burch, Jamie Broadwater, and Ashley and Kelly Ison. She had 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandkids. She has one living sibling, Delores Helms.  She loved the river and enjoyed many great times in Deltaville and Urbanna. She will be so missed. She was the best mother ever and loved her children unconditionally. She was our best friend. Family members will receive friends at Joan’s Celebration of Life on Sunday, July 10, at 1 p.m. at 157 Sturgeon Point Loop, Deltaville, VA 23043. Flowers may be sent there, and cards to P.O. Box 364, Deltaville, VA 23043.  We draw comfort in knowing that you will forever be “Our Guardian Angel”!
