Joan Mason

Joan Elizabeth Armer Mason, 87, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021, in Heron Cove, Gloucester. Joan was born in Ballston Spa, New York on July 3, 1933 to Walter and Gladys Armer.

Mrs. Mason was the widow of Perry R. Mason, Jr. to whom she was married for 58 years. Joan and Perry retired to Topping in 1992 and were devoted members of Lower United Methodist Church, Hartfield. Joan enjoyed a close circle of friends In Topping, and spent many hours playing cards with Alice, Lavonne, Bessie, and others.

She is survived by her three sons; David L. Mason, and his wife Loni, of Sylvania, Ohio, Daniel A. Mason, and his wife Lisa, of Chesapeake, and Peter G. Mason, and his wife Lisa, of Odenton, Maryland; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Lower United Methodist Church, Hartfield at 2:00 pm on July 16, 2021.
