JoAnn Muir

JoAnn Bukaty Muir passed away peacefully in Washington, DC on Monday, June 11, 2012. She was born on September 23, 1931, in Kansas City, Kansas, and met Brockett Muir, Jr., her beloved husband of 50 years in Hawaii. They lived in Washington, DC, and she is survived by their four children and their spouses, Heather Kirby and John, Madeline Bacon and Greg, Brockett Muir III and Catherine, and Helen Milby and Joe and her seven grandchildren, John Brockett Kirby, Anabelle Bacon, Sarah Milby, Kate Milby, Brockett Muir IV, Hollis Muir and Grace Muir. During a private service, Mrs. Muir will be laid to rest next to her husband on Thursday in Christchurch, Virginia.
