John P. Apsley, Sr., age 76, of Topping, died Monday, March 26, 2012. He was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church. John was an Apprentice School Graduate and retired supervisor with Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Co. He is survived by his wife, Ida Barbara, three children, Betty Apsley, John Apsley, Jr., Sharon Bieber and husband, Randy; one brother, Lloyd C. Apsley; three grandchildren; Gage Apsley, Chelsea Bieber, Zachary Bieber and wife, Alexa, one great-granddaughter, Haiden Bieber. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 29th at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda. Interment Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Topping.
