John Callis

John Keith Callis “Bussie”, age 65 of Dutton VA, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 26, 2018. Keith has proudly served Callis Trucking Inc., a family owned business, for the last 46 years. He was an active and very involved member of Locust Grove United Methodist Church in Dutton. Outside of his love of his career, Keith’s family always came first. Keith was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Callis, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara M. Callis; children, Brian Callis (Janine), Jason Callis (Kelly), and Marie Callis; grandchildren, Rylee, Lannah, Jaclyn, and Londyn. Keith is also survived by his mother, Miriam Callis; brothers, Melvin Callis and Thomas Callis; and sisters, Susan Cox and Nancy Mitchell and several extended family members.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held for Keith at 12 noon on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Locust Grove United Methodist Church in Dutton, VA. The family will receive friends at the Church prior to the Service from 10:30 am to 12 noon. Interment will follow the Service at Windsor Gardens Cemetery also in Dutton, VA.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Locust Grove United Methodist Church Love Offering at 1832 Windsor Rd., Dutton VA 23050. Faulkner Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Foster-Faulkner Chapel is assisting the Callis family.
