John W. “Jack” Chislett, 82, of Hallieford, Virginia, passed away on June 24, 2018. He was a self-employed engineer, and also served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a fighter pilot for the US Navy. “He is remembered for his vivacious nature, active lifestyle, and love of all things with motors. He was well known for his passion for traveling and restoring old houses and cars”. He was also a graduate of the United State Merchant Marine Academy.
He is survived by his wife, Sally M. Chislett, one daughter, Wai-Kwan Chislett; a son, Kevin Chislett, and a sister, Janette Chislett.
All services will be private. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, Virginia, is assisting the family with arrangements.
