Joseph Theimer

May 12, 1934 — January 29, 2021

Joseph Albert Theimer, 86, of Deltaville went to be with the Lord on January 29, 2021 after losing his battle with Covid.

He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Lucille Theimer and his wife of 45 years, Donna White Theimer. He is survived by his three children, Catherine T. Davis (Vin), Susan T. Bergerard and Linnie J. Theimer (Lisa); two sisters, Helen T. Bass and Jane T. McGlocklin; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

He retired from Reynolds Metal Company where he worked since the age of 19. He was a member of Philippi Christian Church. He was a devoted member of the Middlesex Moose Lodge 2401. Joe loved his river life, boating and fishing. He loved hunting all his life and for years with the Davis family who to this day still have “Joe’s hunting stand”. He was quite the handyman and could build or fix just about anything!

A graveside service will be at Philippi Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Deltaville on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 2 p.m. Social distancing and masks are required.
