Joyce Blake

Joyce Anne Bowen Blake, 71, of Topping passed away unexpectedly in her home on Friday, November 19, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Doris Bowen; and her brother, Buddy Bowen.

She is survived by her best friend and loving husband of 45 years, David Blake; her son, Trey Blake and her granddaughters Allison Blake and Alexa Young-Blake and her grandsons Matthew Blake and Corbin Blake; her daughter, Traci Wright, Son-in-law, John Wright and granddaughter, Samantha Wright; her daughter, Jennifer Blake and granddaughters, Chelsi Blake, Cheyenne Pullman, Sarah Blake and grandson, William Blake; her brother Todd Bowen and many other extended family members and friends.

Nanny Joyce absolutely adored her children, grandchildren and all of her “fur” babies. Nobody ever left her house without a warm hug and a smile on their face due to her silly jokes. She loved and never missed attending Chelsi playing sports. She was her number one fan.

Joyce loved "fixing hair" and worked 40 plus years doing so and touched many lives in a caring and unforgettable way.

In, lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Middlesex County Animal Shelter.
