Juanita Lyle

Juanita E. Lyle, 84, formerly of Smyrna, GA., passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side, on Sunday, September 28, 2014. Juanita was born on July 1, 1930, in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in Walland, TN. She graduated with a nursing degree from Kennesaw College in 1977. She worked as a registered nurse at several metro Atlanta hospitals, including Brawner Psychiatric Hospital. Juanita was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church and Green Acres Baptist Church. She enjoyed bird watching, flower gardening, and especially reading. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Joe Henry Everett of Walland, TN, and a sister Lois Faye Everett Tipton of Maryville, TN. Juanita is survived by her son, David E. Lyle of Powder Springs, GA; her two daughters, Cynthia J. Horn of Bavon, VA and Leigh A. Lewis and son-in-law Greg S. Lewis of Gwynn, VA; sister, Rowena Kinbrough of OH and a sister and brother-in-law, Jody and Tom Couch of Newnan GA. A graveside Service will be held at Millers Cove Missionary Baptist Church, Walland, TN on November 1, 2014 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Green Acres Baptist Church, 591 Pat Mell Road, Smyrna.
