Julia Marie Weston Haynes, 81, of Saluda, was called to be with her Lord Wednesday, June 6, 2012. During her life, she was Justice of the Peace for Gloucester County, she managed a newspaper route, served as a dispatcher for the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Department, was a matron for the Middlesex County Jail, a member of New Hope United Methodist Church and was a caregiver to many. She was predeceased by her parents John W. “Johnny Crab” and Mollie J. Weston, husband Charles R. Haynes, son C. Wayne Haynes, brother Herman E. Weston, sister Laura W. French, and brother-in-law V. Alvin Sibley, Sr. She is survived by her daughter Beverly Ann Haynes, son Richard G. (Deborah) Haynes, granddaughters Rita H. Welsh and Casey G. Haynes, great-granddaughter Mason Ann Welsh, sisters Effie W. (Mitt) Ward, Shirley Ray W.(Charlie) Dunlevy, Barbara Ann W. Sibley, Annette W. (Dale) Laird, brother-in-law Newton W. “Mike” French, sister-in-law Nellie B. Weston and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 10th at New Hope United Methodist Church, Gloucester County, with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda.
