Katherine Redmon

Katherine Elena “Katy” Redmon, age 34, of Urbanna, VA died July 26, 2014. She was preceded in death by her mother, Tamera Moreno of Goleta, CA. She is survived by her husband, Elliott Randolph Redmon; daughter, Gina Brooke Gibson; two step-sons, Elliott R. Redmon, II and Thomas Elliott Redmon; father, Mario Moreno of Goleta, CA.; step-father, William Robert Honeycutt; sisters, Gina and Gabby Moreno, Maggie Honeycutt; brother, W. Robert Honeycutt; grandmother, Patricia L. “Gay” Walters; grandfather, William M. Walters, Jr.; aunt, Natalie Craig (Jerry); uncles, Toby and Tony Walters; cousins, Miranda Carter (David), Ashley Flournoy (Eric), David Walters (Katie), and Nicole Craig. Katy graduated in 1999 from Southeast Guilford High School, Greensboro, NC. She received a diploma in The Medical Assisting Program from Everest College in Newport News, VA in 2008. She was also a devoted caregiver to her grandmother, Gay. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
