Kenneth Wayne Ward

Kenneth Wayne Ward, 70, of Deltaville, passed away on November 12, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Born May 29, 1953, he is the son of Floyd and Jean Ward. 

In his spare time, Kenny enjoyed fishing and watching football. He was an avid fan of Washington and Green Bay. He loved spending time with his family and his friends that he lovingly called “The Herd”.
 
In addition to his parents, Mr. Ward is survived by his wife, Carole Ward; daughters, Carmen Ward and Kristi Wilson-Sassaman (Daniel); granddaughter, Maddie Wood; grandson, Ethan Lawson; great granddaughter, Kendra King; aunt, Sue Garrett; sisters in law, Helen Ward and Regina Ward; his best friend, Timothy “TimBop” Paul; many beloved nieces and nephews, and his fur babies, Cilla and Peanut Butter.

Mr. Ward is preceded in death by his brothers, Floyd Gene, Thomas, and Gary Ward. 

A memorial service is planned for 1 pm on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Philippi Christian Church, Deltaville, VA. The family will receive friends following the service at Lower Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department.
