Laura Lee Sorrell O'Neill, age 47, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2014. Laura was in the US Navy for two years, where she met her husband Mark. They were married in Mathews County where they presently reside.
Laura is survived by her husband, Mark Evans O'Neill; her parents, Carl Sorrell and Janet Purinton; her siblings, Amy Torre and Andrew Sorrell and her grandmother, Wlillamina Ferguson.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 1 -2 pm at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Virginia. A Graveside Service will follow at 2:30 pm in Windsor Garden Cemetery, Dutton, Virginia. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Laura's memory to the American Cancer Society, c/o Katie Dutton, P.O. Box 218, Cobbs Creek, Virginia 23035
