Leonard Revere

Leonard C. Revere, Jr., age 81, of Topping died Tuesday, March 26, 2013. He was the widower of Mary Elizabeth W. Revere and the son of the late Leonard C. Sr. and Gladys B. Revere. He was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church where he served as chairman of the deacon fellowship, chairman of the pastor search committee, chairman of the property committee, Sunday school director and was deacon emeritus at his death. After graduating from Syringa High School Leonard served four years in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict. He then worked for Dominion Virginia Power and retired with thirty-two years of service. Upon retiring, he moved back to Middlesex County and rejoined Harmony Grove church and brought his wonderful wife with him. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00am Saturday at Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Topping with Rev. Roger Collier officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 6:30 until 8:00pm at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda.
