Leonard Wiley Levis

March 3, 1953 — May 15, 2021

Leonard Wiley Levis, Jr., 68, of Eltham, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2021. He is survived by his daughter, Ruth Ellen West; two grandchildren, Trevor and Braydon West; his sister, Ellen Schiavone (Andrew) of Williamsburg; and step-daughter, Lucy Hager. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard W. Levis, Sr. and Lucille Harrow Levis; and former wife, Leah Levis.

Wiley lived most of his life in Richmond. His varied careers included auto mechanic, pressman, motorcycle racer, and salesman, which was short-lived because shoes were required! He had many talents and lived each day on his own terms. He had a passion for photography and his love for nature was revealed in his work.

Wiley loved life and enjoyed old movies, music, fishing, motorcycles, boats and going fast. He had a great gift for music and could play any instrument he put his hands on, but he will be most remembered for his distinctive laugh and his never-ending desire to help people. He will be greatly missed by his many close friends and family.
