Lewis S. “Butch” Liverman, Jr., 76 of Urbanna, Va., passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 32 years, Theresa Bristow Liverman; his two sons Eric Liverman (Liz) of Wilson, North Carolina and Evan Liverman (Sherri) of Saluda, Virginia; stepchildren David Bristow (Lee) of Richmond, Virginia, BooBoo Bristow (Sabrina) of Shacklefords, Virginia and Maureen Medlin (Mac) of West Point, Virginia; sisters Joan Radford and Mickie Wood (Chuck), brother Timothy (Tiny) Liverman. Butch had a special place in his heart for all his grandchildren including Dayton and Haylynn Liverman; David, Matthew and Mary Liverman; Matt Bristow (Melanie); Justin Bristow (Morgyn); Leslie Lantz (Randy), Mark and Ridge Bristow; Lane Medlin (Madison) and Kristen Conigliaro (Anthony). Great-grandchildren include Chloe Liverman, Easton and Emerson Bristow, Max Bristow, Samuel, Ethan and Abagail Lantz, Charlotte (Charlie) Medlin.
Butch was a general contractor by trade who worked with many local families to build homes throughout the Middle Peninsula. He enjoyed a full and productive life and loved giving back any way he could to his family, friends, and the community. Butch’s favorite hobbies were fishing, traveling and spending time with his family.
A private memorial service will be held at the Liverman home in Urbanna. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Butch’s memory can be made to the Middlesex County Volunteer Rescue Squad.
