Lois Fitchett

Lois Owens Fitchett, 88, of Port Haywood, Va. passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Riverside Convalescent Center-Mathews. She was born to Charles Malcolm and Evelyn Owens on October 31, 1927 in Mathews, Va. and lived there all of her life. She was a homemaker and a dedicated wife and mother. She especially enjoyed needlework and cooking. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Benjamin H. "Benny" Fitchett; son, Frank Fitchett; daughter, Cynthia Bridges (Herb); granddaughter, Kathryn B. Jackson (Larry) and her great-granddaughter, Ellory Jackson.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Va. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at St. Paul Annex Cemetery, Susan, Va. Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, c/o Melanie Miles, Susan, Va. 23163.
