Lorraine Rainier

Lorraine Hurtt Rainier, age 86, of Topping, passed away Friday, July 15, 2016. She was the widow of James Monroe Rainier and was also predeceased by a son, Robert Lee Rainier. Lorraine was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church, Topping. Survived by her children, Lisa R. Chandler (Mark), James W. Rainier (Terry), A. Wayne Rainier (Liz), David M. Rainier, Warren G. Rainier (Diane), seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Elsie S. McLaughlin, Laura Mae Willis, Betty Jean Kennard, Barbara S. Sadler and Delores S. Wright a brother, John Albert Sibley. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 18th in Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda. Interment will be in Poroporone Baptist Church Cemetery, Shacklefords. The family will receive friends 6 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
