Mabel Lee Riley, age 97, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Mathews-Riverside Convalescent Center. Mabel was born on October 18, 1915.
She is survived by her daughter, Yvonne R. Deagle; granddaughter, Shelia Wroten-Thompson and her husband Bobby; great-granddaughter Amanda D. Wroten and her husband MMCS (SW/AW) retired U. S. Navy, Scott R. Rumpf; great-grandson, James B. Jarvis and his wife Julie; great-great granddaughter, Melanie L. Jarvis.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from 1 -2 p.m. at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Virginia with service to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home Chapel. Burial will follow in St. Paul Annex, Susan, Virginia. Memorial donations may be made in Mabel's honor to the Mathews Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 723, Mathews, Virginia 23109.
