Mara Newcomb

Mara Brett Newcomb was born in Richmond, Virginia on September 13, 1990, and went to be with the Lord on December 21, 2018. She was a graduate of King William High School. She had a love for dancing, and helping other people fulfill their dream of becoming home-owners. She was currently employed by George Mason Mortgage in Richmond. Special thanks to Allison Davis for seeing a special, talented young woman who had the desire to succeed in everything she could imagine.

She is survived by her daughter, Lena Grace Stover; parents Paul “Pete” Newcomb, and Patricia Gault Newcomb; her brother, Seth Newcomb and his fiancée, Stephanie and boys, Corbin and Jeremiah; and special companion, Peyton Davis; grandparents, Mike & Phyllis Gault.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Sharon Baptist Church, King William, Virginia. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel, Tappahannock, is assisting the family with the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, a savings account has been set up in Lena Stover’s name at the Bank of Essex in Central Garage, (P.O. Box 26, Manquin, Virginia, 23106)
