Margaret Dentler

Mrs. Margaret Dentler, 80, of Gloucester, died on Sunday, July 12, 2015 surrounded by many family members. She was born in Beckley, West Virginia, one of six children of Orville and Edith A. (Mays) Phillips on March 26, 1935. She is survived by her children Rhonda Kodad (Darell) of Bellevue, Nebraska; Nancy LaLand (Geoffrey) of Mathews; Ronald Dentler of Gloucester; and Vicki Messick (Rob) of Gloucester; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Mary Stoll of Canton, Ohio and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald and daughter-in-law Lynn Dentler. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Friday July 17, 2015 at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home, Saluda with visitation being held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Mathews/Gloucester Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 385, Gloucester, VA, 23061 or the American Cancer Association, 11835 Canon Blvd., Suite A102, Newport News, VA, 23606. Burial at Arlington National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
