Marguerite Bristow, age 97, of Deltaville died Sunday, July 22, 2012. She was a graduate of James Madison University and taught for 39 years in the Middlesex County Public School system. She was a lifelong member of Clarksbury UMC where she served as choir director for over 40 years and in numerous other leadership roles. Marguerite was the last of her generation and was predeceased by her parents, George L. and Maria Glenn Bristow; sisters, Nancy L. Ruark, Dorothy S. Price and Alice Martha Schuster; brothers, Hewitt A. and Richard G. Bristow. She is survived by a nephew, Richard N. Schuster (Carolina); nieces, Ruth A. Cobb (Tom) and Dorothy C. Scott-Wrenn (Bob). Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, July 26th in Clarksbury United Methodist Church, Hardyville. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm Wednesday, July 25th at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda.
