Marie Antoinette Butler

Marie A. Butler (nee Tine) passed away peacefully April 17, 2025, at age 95. She was born July 10, 1929, in Baltimore, Maryland to Nellie Capone and Frank Tine who immigrated from Italy to America.

After raising her family, she moved to Forest Hill, Maryland and then later retired to Urbanna, Virginia.

Marie loved her family, the ocean and cooking. She had her own secret recipes that everyone enjoyed. She was a devoted wife to Lionel Joseph (Joe) Butler and loving mother to 7 children, Kerry Robusto (Dr. James Robusto), Barbara Dileonardi (Mark Showacre), Lionel (Joyce), David (Gail), Mark (DeLynn) Thomas (Julie), and Jeffrey (Terry). She was a grandmother to 14 and great grandmother to 18.

Marie was predeceased by her husband, Joe; son, David; grandson, David, Jr.; her sisters, Josephine and Rita; and brother Anthony.

She had Christian values and love of the Lord. She will be remembered for her kindness, patience, and unconditional love.
