Marilyn Morgan

Marilyn "Ducky" Morgan, of Hallieford, Va passed away on September 25, 2023 at the age of 92. She was born on March 13, 1931 to Upsher, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth "Mamie" Rainier. She was a long time member of Mathews Chapel United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for 17 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 60 years, Forrest. Also preceding her in death, her brothers, Buster and Melvin; sisters, Golden Dutton, Ruth Robins, Beulah Sadler, Lottie Rowe and Audrey "Piggy" Mitchem.

She is survived by her son Keith and his wife Carol, granddaughter Lindsay, sisters. Joyce Downs, Janice South; sister- in-law, Florence Rainier, and many nieces and nephews, and close family friend, Diane Sadler.

The family will receive friends and family at 12 pm, Friday, September 29, 2023 at Mathews Chapel United Methodist Church followed by funeral service at 1pm. Burial will follow at Windsor Gardens Cemetery. Family and friends are invited back to the church for a reception after burial. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, Virginia is assisting the family.
