Marilyn Thomas

Marilyn Carole Thomas 68 of Topping passed away at home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Her brother (Wayne) was by her side. Marilyn was a standout basketball and softball player in high school and loved all sports. She kept that passion alive watching Marianne, Madison and MacLean competing in their respective sports. She loved to fish and could be seen most anytime fishing the local rivers and creeks. She was a hard worker and retired from Cox Communications and Middlesex County. Marilyn was pre-deceased by her father Charles Norman Thomas and Cassie M Brill. She is survived by her mother Annie L Thomas, brothers C. Newman Thomas and Wayne L Thomas (Diane). She is also survived by nieces Marianne (Blake) Southerland, Madison Thomas(Brandon), nephew MacLean Thomas and two great nephews and nieces. Marilyn had many friends who she loved dearly. A special thanks to Hospice and her special care givers Lisa Sibley and Jennifer Bryant. At her request, there will be no services.
