Marion Earls

Marion R. Earls, 70, of Hallieford, died Tuesday January 16, 2018. Born February 4, 1947, in Huntsville, Alabama. She was a resident of Mathews since 1987, she enjoyed cooking, traveling, family, and friends. She was known to most as Mema. She was there to help with anything anyone needed, especially food. She was raised cooking and never stopped. If there was an event, she brought food. If you needed someone to cater, she was there. If you needed to laugh, needed a hug, or to be told the truth, she was the one to call. She never knew a stranger and had friends that became family for life. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, James Earls; son Dave Clark and his wife Sheila: daughter Samantha Abbott and her husband Jeffrey; grandson Kyle Abbott and his wife Ashleigh; granddaughter LeighAnn Abbott; son Christopher Earls and his wife Bambi; grandson's Alexander, Nickolas, and Isaiah Earls; and son Charles Earls. There will be a celebration of her life at Damon and Company in Gloucester, Saturday, January 20, from 2 to 5. Food and laughs are welcome. Come tell stories and celebrate the way she lived.
