On February 28, 2021 angels led Marjorie June Dameron Brown to heaven to reunite with many family members. June was born June 5, 1930 in Newport News, VA to Whitmore Leonard and Florence Allie Dameron who predeceased her along with her son Robert Wayne and many other family members.
She leaves behind the love of her life of seventy-three years of marriage Ed (Brownie); daughters, Karen Sale (Bill) of Appomattox, Cheryl Willis of Williamsburg; seven grandchildren, Edward Sale, Janice Havron, Robert Sale, Kenneth Brown, Amanda Brown, Tony Brown and Greg Willis, eight great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
After retiring from the City of Newport News she started teaching ballroom dance classes at Gloucester Parks and Recreation for twenty-five years where she shared her love of music and dance. June leaves behind so many special friends that she loved so much.
We want to give our love and thanks to the ladies of Gloucester and Williamsburg Hospice for all of the love and care to Mom and the family.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. Wednesday at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda. A graveside service will follow at noon in Middlesex Memorial Cemetery, Urbanna.
