Martha Jean Soles, 83, of Kilmers Point passed away Monday, September 28, 2015. She was survived by her loving husband, Edward S. “Hezzie” Soles; her children, Thomas G. “Tommy” Powell, Barbara E. Pinekenstein, Larry “Wayne” Powell, Edward G. “Garry” Soles, and Stanley D. “Stan” Dameron; grandchildren, Barry W. Powell, Clinton Maul, Andrew W. “Andy” Powell, Stacey P. Akers, Candice M. Soles, Ashley D. Soles, and Eric Dameron; 4 great grandchildren, Nathan W. Powell, Owen A. Powell, Madelynn G. Powell, and Layla E. Powell; sisters, Elizabeth M. Williams, Faye C. Hicks, and Norma C. Blake; nieces; nephews; Jake her beloved dog; and a host of other loving family members. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Friday, October 2, 2015 at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda, VA with burial to follow at Forest Chapel Cemetery, Warner, VA. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
