Mary Lou Bristow

Mary Lou Bristow passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, February 16, 2025. 

She was born in Newport News, Virginia on April 10, 1944, to Albert Smith and Ethel Clark Smith. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Adner Bristow; sister, Kitty Horne; brothers, Lacy Smith, Carlos Smith, Bill Smith and John Paul Smith. 

 Survivors include her children, Lynn Bristow, Brenda Bristow, Becky Lathrop and Jimmy Bristow; sister, Cynthia Tyner; grandchildren, Haley Lathrop, April Colberly, James Bristow and Beth Ovaitt. 

 Mary Lou was a beautiful, kind and humble lady that loved her family and friends. She had a great love for animals.

 A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. 

 Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel is assisting the family.
