Mary Ellen Forrest, 68, of Port Haywood, Virginia, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 21, 2015. She is predeceased by her parents, Wilton & Mary Haywood. She is survived by her husband, Donald Forrest; her aunts, Lois Buchannon, and Martha Slaughter; her uncle, James Diggs and many close family members. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at New Point Friends Church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Mary Ellen's memory to the Mathews Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 723, Mathews, Virginia 23109. Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Virginia is in charge of the arrangements.
