Melvin Leroy Ferguson 75, of Mathews Va, passed away on Dec.6, 2015 at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital in Glouster, Va.
Melvin (Chick) was born Dec. 13, 1940 in Washington D.C. He was the son of Harvey & Alma Ferguson of Upper Marlboro, Md. Melvin was a fun person to be with, he liked the Redskins, fishing, woodwork, gardening and life in general. Melvin is survived by his son Robert L. Ferguson of Ocean City Md., daughter Dana Ferguson Rose of Prince Frederick, Md., sisters Sylvia L. Kistler, of Greensburg, Pa. and Robin Myers of Mechanicsville, Md., brother George L. Ferguson of Churchton, Md. Grandchildren: Justin T. Ferguson, Ashley A. Ferguson, Kaulin A. Rose, and Joshua Nino Rose.
He's proceeded in death by his parents Harvey & Alma Ferguson, siblings, Winnifred E. Lagana, Gloria A. Huss, Harvey L. Ferguson and Robert L Ferguson. There will be a Celebration of Life on Dec. 13, 2015 (Chick's Birthday) at his home in Mathews, VA ( 2-6 ) with family and friends.
