Michael Altman

Michael Anthony Altman, 28, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 13, 2015. Michael was born in Newport News, Va. and had been a Mathews resident for fifteen years. He had been employed by his father, Anthony Altman and Steve Motley for ten years. Michael was a Cowboy fan and he loved his nephew, Ziz. Michael loved children and was a loving father to his daughters, Areanna, Savannah and Leah.

He is survived by his father, Anthony Altman (Sheila Ratley), his mother, Linda Kay Paul Altman; his sisters; Amanda Altman, Taylor Altman and Kimmy Winston; brothers, Hunter Altman and Josh Winston; his grandparents, Andrea Altman, Marvin and Linda Hall; many nieces and nephews; his best friends JohnnyMike, Mike Timberlake and Jack Drew; and his dog Rocky Baboa. A Gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Va. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 12:30 pm also at the Funeral Home.
