Michael Miller

Michael “Mike” Suder Miller, 73 years old, departed his earthly life Monday, June 1, 2020. Born March 13, 1947 in Pittsburgh, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Jennie Miller.

Survived by his children, Robin Miller Harmon (Reed) and Trevor B. Miller along with 3 granddaughters, Tiffany, Brittany & Whitney.

As a Vietnam Veteran, Mike was proud to serve his country in the United States Army, 101st Airborne Division. After his stint in the service he relocated to Virginia where he lived permanently.

Planes, trains & race cars, he loved them all. In the 80’s he enjoyed driving his dirt track race car at Saluda Raceway where he was known by many as “Zero”. His career path in electrical and mechanical engineering directed him to work on military fighter jets, which inspired his hobby in remote control planes. He was able to share his love and knowledge of planes as a member of the Hanover RC Flying Club where he avidly flew. His legacy lives on in his loved ones.
