Mollie McMurtrie

Mollie Williams McMurtrie, 83 of Deltaville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 13, 2022. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Alexander McMurtrie and is survived by her son, Robert Alexander “Mac” McMurtrie, Jr (Stephanie); daughter, Susan Williams (David); grandchildren, Jeffery Scott Payne, Jr, Brittin Payne and Luke McMurtrie; nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.

She was a member of the Church of the Visitation, an avid reader and a thirty plus year lifetime member of Lower Middlesex Volunteer Rescue Squad. Most importantly, Mollie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren with whom she was so proud of and loved so dearly.

Graveside memorial services will be held Friday, August 19, 2022, 10:00 a.m., at Church of the Visitation Cemetery, Topping, Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Middlesex Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 98, Deltaville, VA 23043. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda is assisting the family.
