Nancy Hughes

Nancy Mason Hughes, beloved wife of Reverend Everett Hughes of fifty years, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2017 in Mathews, VA. Nancy was born on May 19,1947, in Norfolk, VA. She was a retired Trust Officer and Vice President from SunTrust Bank. She is preceded in death by her parents Cleon and Madeline Mason. She is survived by her sister, Joyce Grudzinski (Phil), her son, Irving (Buster) E. Hughes III (JoLynn) and her daughter, Virginia (Ginny) Lawhead (Bill), and six grandchildren, Brittany, Rhett, Madison, Kiera, Riley and Cole. A Visitation will be held on April 11th from 7:00-9:00 at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Virginia. A Funeral service will be held on April 12th at 2:00pm at Mathews Baptist Church, Hudgins, Virginia.
