Nelda C. Sadler, 96, of Mathews, Virginia passed away Monday, September 3, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Curtis Ellsworth Sadler. Nelda was a member of Peniel Friends Church. She is survived by a daughter, Anita S. Belvin (Bobby); a son, Keith E. Sadler (Kathy); grandchildren, Michele Williams (Brad), Ingrid Bayne (Charlie), Brian Sadler (Maria), Gregory Sadler (Keller); great-grandchildren, Travis, Morgan, Kayla, Noah, Jordyn, Caroline, Olivia and a sister, Ruth Callis.
The family thanks the staff of Gloucester House for their kind and loving care.
The family will receive friends at 1pm on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Peniel Friends Church, Onemo, Virginia. A Funeral service will be held in the church at 2pm. Interment will follow in Pear Tree Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Mathews Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 723, Mathews, Virginia 23109. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, Virginia is assisting the family with the arrangements.
