Nell Weston

Nell Blake Weston, 93, of Deltaville, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. She was a member of Zoar Baptist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, and was a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service for over thirty years. She also enjoyed cooking and camping.

Nell is survived by her three sons, Bruce Weston (Tinner), Ronnie Weston (Denise), Dave Weston (Meredith); grandchildren, Sarah, Kristin, Justin, Chad, Blake, Clayton, Molly; ten great-grandchildren, and sister, June Edwards.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Weston; father, Robert Bruce Blake; mother, Laura Anderson; stepfather, John Anderson; daughter-in-law, Anna Weston; brothers, Stanley Blake, Tommy Blake; sisters, Louise Thompson and Myrtle Faulkner.

A special thank you to the ladies who cared for her, Beth Croxton and Becky Riffe.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Zoar Baptist Church, Deltaville VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, Interment will follow in Phillipi Memorial Gardens.
