Norman W. Kemp, 82, of Port Haywood, Virginia went to be with his Lord, with his family by his bedside on Saturday, March 5, 2016. He is predeceased by his mother, Marguerite Armistead Kemp and his uncle, Rob E. Diggs. He is survived by his wife of 61 years of marriage, Gladys Mitchem Kemp; three daughters, Norma Kemp, Paula Cullison (Bill), and Valerie Smith (Harry); 3 grandsons, and 9 great-grandchildren. He served in the US Army and retired as a carpenter from Federal Civil Service at the US Naval Weapons Station with over 30 years of dedicated service. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 7, 2016 from 1 – 2 pm at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Virginia. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at St. Paul Annex Cemetery, Susan, Virginia.
